We’ve introduced five core values that we feel best highlight who we are at Leicester Vineyard:

WE ARE POWERED BY PRAYER
We act in expectation of God’s Kingdom breaking into our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. This means we take every opportunity to pray, discerning God’s leading and stepping out in faith where He’s already on the move.

WE ARE OUTWARD LOOKING
Leicester is our home and mission field, and we want to ensure we show and tell others about Jesus. This means ensuring we don’t remain in our own walls but take opportunities to be invitational and generous in knowing, serving and responding to those around us.

WE ARE SERVANT HEARTED 
We follow Jesus by following those in need in our church, community and city. We put others before ourselves and respond to need with compassion and generosity, using our gifts, resources, time & skills. We find joy in serving our community, church and each other.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO DOING THINGS WELL

Whatever we do in ministry, we want to do it well to ensure it reflects the heart of Jesus. This means ensuring our activities are meaningful and considered, and our ministries and church are healthy and sustainable.

WE ARE FAMILY 

We are an informal and relational community where, as family, everyone is known, loved and finds belonging. This means welcoming the new, the least and the lost and recognising and embracing difference. It means us all being united through Jesus as family.
