Get Involved
We serve because He served – He that washed the feet of his own disciples!
Not only is serving a key hallmark of the Christian faith, being servant-hearted is one of LV’s core values. It’s a great way to feel belonging in church family and get to know others in church.
Sundays can’t happen without a team of servant hearted volunteers. Whether it’s on media, in LVkids, or set up, we have a range of roles to suit everyone’s gifting or heart.
We ask that volunteers serve just once a month – enabling everyone to receive for the remainder.
If you are considering making Leicester Vineyard your home, belonging here means being involved here, and this means a few key things:
1. Attend church regularly
We’d love to see you regularly on Sundays and at church events – check out our ‘What’s On’ diary.
2. Join a Small Group
We don’t disciple alone, we grow best in community with others, where we can develop in relationship with God and with each other.
3. Serve on a team
As above, ‘everyone gets to play’ and this is where we get to use our giftings.
4. Give generously
We see giving as part of our worship, it enables the church to realise it’s vision and is a core part of being a disciple.
